Who owns the Swaptico platform, how your content is licensed to us, and how to report alleged infringement.
1. Platform ownership
The Swaptico platform — including its software, algorithms, matching and fraud-detection engines, designs, user interfaces, documentation and data structures — is owned by the Swaptico operator. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
2. Trademarks
“Swaptico” and the Swaptico logo are trademarks of the Swaptico operator. You may not use them to imply affiliation, endorsement or sponsorship without written permission.
3. Your content licence
You retain ownership of the content you post (listings, photos, wants, reviews, messages). You grant Swaptico a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and process that content solely to operate and improve the marketplace, including moderation, matching and search. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to legal retention obligations.
4. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright or other rights, contact legal@swaptico.com with: your contact details, identification of the work, the exact URL(s), a statement of good-faith belief, and a declaration of accuracy. Complaints are reviewed and, where appropriate, content is removed promptly.
5. No copying, scraping or automated extraction
Unless you have our written permission, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display the platform's software, designs, interfaces or content; use automated tools, bots or scripts to scrape, harvest or extract data from the platform (including listings, photos, reviews, wants or user information); reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the platform's software, except to the extent expressly permitted by law; or reuse the platform's content or software for any commercial purpose of your own. This does not prevent you from accessing your own data through the account tools we provide, or from using the platform normally as a user.
6. Third-party components
The platform uses open-source software components, which remain subject to their own applicable licences and are not part of Swaptico's proprietary content or marks. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights in those components beyond what their applicable licences allow. Swaptico's copyright and trademark notices do not extend to third-party software.
